I’m back with my first Monday Must Haves post in quite awhile! I’ve been very quiet the past fortnight on the blog as I’ve been slaving away at updating it and doing all the behind the scenes, “techy” stuff that nearly resulted in me pulling my out all of my hair and/ or throwing my laptop out the nearest window multiple times! But alas it’s finally starting to get there and the blog is beginning to look and feel the way I had imagined. But enough about that and more about all the pieces that have me drooling at the moment!
Oversized Grey Knit
It’s finally time to whip out our oh so precious wooly knits as the temperatures start to drop and this grey asymmetrical beauty will be the first to join my wardrobe. I love how chunky the knit is and it’s silver grey shade will work alongside most of my wardrobe, be it over a little black dress with knee highs or your standard ripped skinnies. See? It really is a must have!
Suede Messenger Bag
I love a good black bag as much as the next girl but this suede chained crossover bag is my idea of perfection. It’s an ideal size and I’m loving the brushed silver feather detailing- I used to be all over black and gold detailing but as of late I much prefer the edginess of the silver finish.
Bird White Blouse
I’m obsessed with shirts and blouses lately, I can’t seem to stop wearing them, especially white ones. I couldn’t resist this beautiful embroidered blouse from Freya.
Gold & Black Sunglasses
Okay so I might have them in silver, but these gold rim statement shades are a must!
Over The Knee Boots
Okay so they’re not the Stuart Weitzman OTK’s but they’re one HELL of a dupe?! I have been yearning over the Weitzman khaki lowland’s for probably three years now so I could not believe my luck when I saw that Freya had an almost identical pair.
Bombers are the absolute must have jacket of the season and I’ve been lusting after one that was a little bit different so I fell in love with this embellished bomber when I saw it. Another one for the list!!
Simple but effective, these grey mid-rise skinnies are the ultimate winter staple.
Long Wool Coat
Zara as always, you’ve done it again. This mid-calf length wool coat from their AW collection is coat perfection. I’m a complete navy lover so the richness of this navy blue makes it even more appealing to me. Christmas present anyone?
Black Patent Boots
These Dior inspired black patent boots definitely aren’t for everyone but for me, they’re a yes, yes, yes! They’re so luxurious looking and I love the two tone block heel which is short enough to wear on an every day basis. Although they’re not as long as the catwalk favourited Dior beauties, their price-tag difference more than makes up for it.
So they’re you have it, my wishlist of the now! What do you guys think? Any of my picks taking your fancy? I love dressing for this time of year SO much more than the warmer months. I’m just much more at ease in my cosy knits and over the knee’s, there’s never enough layers! I tend to buy a lot more from the A/W stock as opposed to the S/S, firstly because I honestly just prefer them but also I get so much more wear out of them especially as we don’t get much of a Summer here in Ireland! Let me know what pieces ye liked or disliked! I’m trying to snap more also so be sure to follow me on “adashoflime”… *Warning* – prepare to think I drink too much wine, well, because – I do!
