Hey guys and girls! As some of you might know from my other social media channels, I was away on holidays the week before last. I’ve already blogged about what I got up to during the day time over there and if you missed it, you can check it out here. For this post though I’m going to be focusing on what we did and where we went in the evenings and at night!
First things first, everyone knows that holidays are for eating your body weight in food and consuming probably one too many glasses of wine. Mine certainly are anyway’s and this time was definitely no different. After a really long, stressful day of lying out sunbathing, swimming and reading books, I always have to squeeze in a siesta (just for fear I amn’t well rested enough!!) before heading out for the evening. As we stayed so close by, we ate down by the port every night. We fell in love with an Italian restaurant, Picasso’s and ended up going back there the majority of nights. The food was insanely good and for a true pizza addict like myself I was in heaven. It’s such a busy spot and looks right out onto the port so its the perfect spot for people watching. We were spoilt with bars and clubs to choose from but the nights we were out we ended up going to Newscafe, Pangea and Aqwa. They were all really good but again they were so busy so I wouldn’t recommend going to these places unless you’re prepared for a proper night out- definitely not the kind of spots where you go for one or two drinks.

Sandals – Penny’s (similar here)
Antlers Necklace – My Shining Armour (here)
I posted a picture of this dress on Instagram while I was away and a few of ye asked were it was from so I thought I would post the outfit details. It was such a handy piece for taking me from day to night as it’s so easily dressed up. Just swap the sandals for some heels and voila you’re good to go! Are any of ye heading away soon? Would love to hear your summer plans! I’m only home and I’ve already got the itch to go somewhere else! Hope ye’re Monday wasn’t too painful 🙂
