“It takes nothing to join the crowd. It takes everything to stand alone.” – Hans F. Hansen
Hello Lovelies! This week’s second look couldn’t be further from the first one. My first look of this week was dark and lacked colour but I loved it anyways. This one is very much the opposite but again, I love it. I never usually wear many bold colours and certainly didn’t have anything orange in my wardrobe before purchasing this jumper but I just loved this shade and how it “popped”. I picked this cropped sweater up while I was in London for work last week, I was instantly drawn to the colour of it. It has a beautiful rich mustardy, burnt orange hue.
Happy Sunday Everyone!
Sundays are by FAR by favourite day of the week, especially when you manage your first full weekend in, in months and you wake up feeling fresh as a daisy. Those Sunday’s are the winning ones. I’m spending this Sunday meeting up with one of my oldest friends, having brunch and then celebrating my sisters birthday, so it’s one I think I’ll be enjoying! Yesterday was such a fabulous day so myself and my sister/photographer decided we needed to take advantage of the last of the ‘September Sun’ lighting and shoot this look.
With the official arrival of the autumnal weather means it’s now socially acceptable to start rooting out all your cosy knits and layers. This makes me uncontrollably happy. Try as I might, I will always prefer dressing for winter. I love the layers, the darker shades, the cosiness.. View Post
Happy Monday Lovelies!
I hope you all had a lovely weekend! Mine was a busy one so I was happy on Sunday to do sweet all and head into town with my sister for a wander around. When we were in we obviously had to go into Penny’s “for a look” and I was glad we did because I came across these silver pointed beauties for the bargain price of €11. They are seriously pointed View Post
I’m usually not a huge fan of vintage.. I mean, I can completely appreciate how stunning and beautiful it is but 9 times out of 10 it just doesn’t suit me. When I think of vintage I instantly think of small sizes and generally it just doesn’t work on girls that are in anyway “busty”. This pink longline blazer though was my exception. I routed this beauty out of a vintage shop in Clifden, Connemara during the summer and I honestly could not believe my luck. The quality of it is absolutely amazing and the best part? It was only €20!!
Happy Friday guys!
To be honest, at first I wasn’t hugely sold on bomber jackets but this black embroidered one, I fell for straight away. I quickly tired of the quilted ones that we were beginning to see everywhere but I loved the Gucci vibe this one had due to it’s embroidered detailing (just look at those butterflies). It’s black so I can still wear it with most things but at the same time it’s that little bit different! View Post
