Today’s outfit is an “off duty” look of sorts – it’s basically what you would find me wearing on weekends and time off etc. As much as I would love to be a dress/skirt kind of girl, I’m just so much more comfortable in trousers and denims in particular. I’m becoming more and more a fan of the “Mom” jeans lately, they’re the perfect balance between not too skinny yet still flattering and they still show your shape. I love the fact that they’re high waisted too which means you can tuck a top in or wear them with shorter things like this cropped leather. View Post
Happy Monday… (if there’s such a thing!). My Monday was unusual in the fact that I woke up feeling fresh after staying in for the weekend, I think I could get used to it? I told myself I wouldn’t go out between now and my trip to London in a few weeks so we’ll see how that goes. I have ye as my witnesses!! If ye follow me on instagram then you will probably have seen this shirt before, it’s one of my all times favourites. It’s so easy to style and well, it’s leopard print so obviously I love it! Last week I was lucky enough to attend the 7th annual Irish Fashion Innovation Awards. Fifteen very lucky bloggers including myself were invited to attend in association with the brilliant Into The West Blogger Network. The awards which are organised by the masterminds at Golden Egg Productions were set up as a platform for local and national designers to showcase their designs and creations. The awards have gone from strength to strength in the past few years and so have their contestants. This year there was over 150 entries from designers all over the country. The award categories included Student Designer, Accessory Designer, Millinery Designer, Jewellery Designer and Fashion Designer Of The Year. View Post
Do you remember my last wishlist post? Well if you do you’ll recognise this camel coat and leopard print sweater. Let’s just say restrain isn’t one of my fine points! I had been on the hunt for the perfect camel coat for ages and was over the moon when I finally came across this one. I’ve been wearing it non stop since getting it. The beauty of it is that it goes with everything from over a LBD to over a very casual outfit like this one.
I’m sitting here writing this post three days after attending Galway’s first ever fashion trail and I can honestly say that I am still on a high after it. The day was organised by the brilliant minds of the team at Galway Now and supported by Catwalk Modelling Agency and Into The West Blogger Network. The aim of the trail was to showcase all that Galway and the West of Ireland has to offer on the style stakes and prove that you don’t need to go further afield to fulfil your fashion wants and needs.
