Every year I look forward to the Met Gala Ball. Celebrities and stars from all over the world descend on New York, each trying to out do the other for the most striking and rememberable outfit. This years theme was China Through The Looking Glass and so Orientalism was to be seen all over the red carpet.
As you’ve probably gathered from my recent posts I am loving the current seventies trend. If you team that with my ongoing obsession with a-line skirts and never-ending love affair with anything denim, it was only a matter of time before this skirt found a way into my wardrobe!
Last Sunday my family and I decided to go on a bit of a “family day out”. We got up early and drove to Doolin in Co. Clare. The drive down from Galway through all the villages is absolutely beautiful. From Doolin we walked out to The Cliffs of Moher.
Seventies fashion is having a revival this season and leading the way is the suede mini-skirt.
