I’m all smiles today and all smiles for all sorts of different reasons.

  1. I got my hair done…is there anything better than that feeling of a fresh head of highlights, cut and curly blowdry? Thank you, thank you, thank you Grafton
  2. I also got my brows done so I now feel like I can look in the mirror again.. again Grafton to the rescue!
  3. It was my day off AND it didn’t rain meaning I could actually do something with my time off. This is a serious rarity in Galway.
  4. Last but definitely not least, I found out I’ve made the shortlist of the Littlewoods Ireland Blog Awards best fashion blog! (Insert shocked face). I am honestly SO overwhelmed and thrilled to have made it this far, to see A Dash Of Lime in the mix among so many amazing bloggers who I’ve been following for years.. it’s mad! For everyone who has voted for me, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it!

Located in Marin County, Sausalito is an idyllic seaside town that boasts the most amazing views looking across onto San Francisco Bay, it’s two bridges and Alcatraz. Our bestie that lives in San Francisco, Sara Kate kept insisting we go there on a day that was nice but we never got around to it until our second last day when she drove us there herself, making sure we didn’t miss out.  She was determined that we got there and I now know why. The place is a little piece of paradise. View Post

Hey Guys,

Oh here I am, back again, rambling on about food yet again. In my defence, there are probably (most definitely) worse things I could be rambling on about. This time though, is Americas best burrito. And no, I’m not being dramatic, it has actually been given that title, and deservingly so if you ask me. Myself & Eadaoin woke up one morning after a night of one too many Moscow Mules and with slightly heavy heads we decided that that day was the perfect day to go and try out these highly acclaimed burritos. Mexican food fixes all sure? View Post

Hey Lovelies!

Hope you’re all having a lovely Sunday! I mentioned in my San Fran post that along with all of the hundred and one things there are to do there, there are also a hundred and one AMAZING places to eat. Seriously, I’ve never eaten so much in my life!! One of the best places we went (and we ate out everyday for 14 days) was most definitely Kate’s Kitchen. If you’re brunching in San Fran, then this is the place for you! View Post

Hi Guys,

I hope you all had a great weekend! Mine was one of the best I’ve had in ages. On Saturday I went to the Ireland V Wales rugby match in Dublin, thanks again to Foley’s Hop House for the tickets! On Sunday, I attended the press launch of the Campo Viejo Tapas Trail. If you know me, then you’ll know about my undying (and a little excessive) love for all things wine and food related so when I heard the words “Tapas Trail” alone, I was sold.

The trail is organised by Spanish winemaker’s, Campo Viejo. They have ran these trails in Dublin and Cork for a few years but this year is the first time they have brought the trail to Galway. With all the Spanish connections and roots that Galway has, it only made sense for them to bring it here next. View Post
