Binge On: Your Netflix Winter ’16 Watches Sorted

Hey Guys!

We’ve made it to Wednesday, we’re half way there! I don’t know about you but for me, with the arrival of shorter, darker days, comes the want to just come straight home from work, put my jammies on and turn on Netflix for the evening. I can’t be the only one am I? With that in mind, added to the fact that I pride myself on having great taste in TV (modest as always), I thought I would compile a list of all the series you NEED to make time for on Netflix. Prepare yourself for sleepless nights, the list will be lengthly!

If You Have A Bad Boy Complex

You don’t necessarily need to have a thing for men, covered in tattoos, getting themselves in trouble to like these shows, but if you do, then you’re really in for a treat. Expect a whole lot of sex & violence and in the case of Power, a soundtrack so good you’ll be pausing it to find out the names of the songs.

  • Sons Of Anarchy
  • Peaky Blinders
  • Power
  • Bloodline

If You Fancy Yourself As Royalty

You don’t have to be a history geek to be fascinated by all the weird and borderline insane things the Royal families of the world used to get up to in the past. I’ve rewatched The Tudors three times and it never gets old, definitely the grittiest of the three as the others are more “PG” but still enjoyable all the same.

  • The Crown
  • The Tudors
  • Reign

If You’re A Documentary Fanatic

There’s not a whole lot I can say about these except to take time and go watch them. They’re all recent or on going issues that we really shouldn’t be ignorant to.

  • Making A Murderer (Obviously)
  • The Ivory Game
  • The Hunting Ground
  • The White Helmets
  • 13th
  • Audrie & Daisy

If You’re In Need Of A Something Light Hearted

  • Grace & Frankie
  • Jane The Virgin
  • Gilmore Girls
  • How I Met Your Mother

& Last But Definitely Not Least…….

So it may not be a series and hence a little off point but if  you only watch one thing on Netflix in the coming weeks make it..

“The Siege Of Jadotville”

A shocking and true story of an Irish platoon who were sent on a UN peacekeeping mission to Africa, only to be left themselves with no support. Its Irish, it’s gritty and did I mention Jamie Dornan plays the main role?! 🙂

That should keep ye entertained for awhile! Now I’m off to do some Netflix binging myself!

Gotta Dash,
