” Autumn is a second spring when every flower is a leaf ” – Albert Camus
Happy Tuesday! Is it just me or are the weeks just flying by? I can’t believe we’re in the middle of November already! I always love this time of year, I never appreciated how beautiful a season Autumn is when I was younger. The crisp air, the striking colours, the surrounding city just comes alive. Another one of my favourite things about this time of year is dressing for it! I love that you can pull out all your cosy accessories and furs alike but you can still get away with barely there tights! Knowing our Irish weather though, this won’t last long.. better enjoy it while we can!
“Here, you need more leaves around your feet, it’ll make it more autumnal!!” – Bestie to the rescue 🙂
These Penny’s/Primark burgundy velvet booties have been one of my favourite purchases so far this season! Costing only €19, I was so surprised at how comfortable they are. They have the perfect heel height meaning they are ideal for wearing during both day and night. They are also available in a lovely rich navy colour.
I picked up this faux fur stole last year, again from good ole Penny’s and I still love it. It just adds a bit of fun to your outfit! I’m not sure if they have striped ones in again this year but they definitely have block colour ones of black and beige.
This skirt is an old one, I actually styled it very differently here. Completely different look right? By simply adding darker colours, tights and boots – it brings it from a very Summery look to one that can carry you through to Winter. I’m all about getting the wear out of my pieces.

I appreciated her coat so much I insisted she get in for her own #OOTD… she was less than impressed but went along with it to make me happy! I’ll make a blogger out of her yet! If you don’t recognise this lovely face then you need to follow me on snapchat sooner rather than later, she’s one of my main features.. her and wine!!
