Style Diary – Ladies Day

Happy Sunday everyone! This miserable weather here in Galway had me looking back on finer days of weeks gone past. A good few of you snapped me asking about my dress from Ladies Day a few weeks ago so I thought it was time I fessed up the details! I didn’t actually attend the races themselves this year as I was working but every Galwegian knows that the real place to be is at the Radisson for the after parties. Seeing as I wasn’t going out to the race track I decided to go for a dress that was a bit more casual and one I would get wear out of again. As much as I love admiring all the races style on other people, I have to admit it’s not really me. That’s why I chose this little number because I know come next summer it’s one I could easily pair with some flats and wear to the beach.

My hair and make-up on the day was of course by my favourites at Grafton Hair & Beauty. I went for my usual curly blowdry and then added a dutch braid on one side. When I say I, what I mean is, I requested and the lovely Dee worked her magic. The uber talented Susie was then left to paint my face. She’s ah-may-zing!!

Hope you all had a lovely weekend!

Gotta Dash,
