Midsummer Brunch by Absolut at Biteclub

Brunching has definitely got to be one of my favourite things to do, mainly because when you talk about it, it sounds more like an activity rather than what it is – eating, and lots of it. It’s a civilised way of saying I’m going out at noon for a fry up and bottomless bubbles! That’s why I was over the moon to attend this year’s Midsummer Brunch with Absolut to celebrate the end of another amazingly successful Galway International Art’s Festival. The breakfast come lunch was hosted by ones of Galway’s trendiest eateries – Biteclub.

Biteclub with the help of Absolut went above and beyond to put on what ended up being one of the best brunches I’ve ever had here in Galway. We were greeted by festival fairies who presented us with fresh flower crowns on entry, so from that alone, I was pretty much sold. Every inch of the place was covered  in gorgeous flowers garlands, fairy lights and umbrella chandeliers. It felt more like a converted barn in the country rather than a nightclub bang centre in the middle of town.

The food was served in a buffet style. Platters of what I’d call fancy fry’s, egg’s benedict, french toast with caramelised bananas drizzled in maple syrup – the list goes on. It was endless and so deliciously good I kept going until I quite literally couldn’t manage another bite. All this served with a side of refreshingly quenching Absolut infused Moscow Mule cocktails. Let’s just say when it comes to brunch, Biteclub definitely don’t mess around!

Tee – Here

Bag – Here

Lace Up Flats – Office

Seeing as it was midsummer brunch after all, I decided to put away the leather jacket for five minutes and break out this floral bomber. It’s so lovely and light and I love the colours in it. I teamed with some trusted mom style jeans, lace up flats, a plain khaki tee and I was good to go!

I hope you’re all having a wonderful week!

Gotta Dash,
