Home-made Hazelnut Iced Latte


Hey Guys!

Anyone that knows me, knows that I am a complete coffee addict! I would say it’s verging on a problem but I can’t criticise the elixir that keeps me functional, now can I? I’ve been wanting to start a recipes category on the blog for awhile now so I thought what better way than with my favourite go-to drink! I live dangerously close to multiple coffee shops so it’s very easy to be tempted into treating myself to an iced coffee a day, but with them costing at least €5 it can all add up so it’s a nice alternative to be able to make them at home.  I use our Nescafe Dulce Gusto machine to make all my coffee but of course you can use whatever it is you have at home.

Syrups – here (You can also pick them up in most coffee shops, I got my set of five in Mocha Beans in Salthill for €8.95)


What you will need: 

– Coffee Machine/ Plunger

-Coffee pods/ ground coffee

-Ice cubes

-120ml Milk

-Flavoured syrup of your choice


1. First things first, fill your glass ( or mason jar if you want to instagram it 😉 ) with ice cubes. I usually use around 10 so its extra cold. If you’re really dedicated to making the perfect iced coffee then I would recommend actually making coffee ice cubes in advance to make sure it’s nice and strong.

2. Next, pour in your milk and as much as you want of your syrup.

3. Now pour in your coldly brewed coffee. Stir it and leave it for a few minutes so layers appear in your drink. Insert a cute straw and you’re good to go!


Now all you need to do is grab a magazine, sip that latte-lovin goodness and relax. Simple! I’ve already had two today and I can tell you that they also do wonders for keeping those hangover blues at bay!
