Travel Diary – Puerto Banus Days

If you’ve been keeping up with my InstagramFacebook or Twitter pages recently, you’ll know that I was away on holidays during the week. (Sorry if I overdid it with the Instagram post’s, couldn’t help it!) Myself and one of my best friends, Orlaith went to Puerto Banus in Marbella, Spain. Both of us had been to Spain numerous times but neither of us had been to this particular spot so we thought it would be nice to go somewhere new. The secretly TOWIE obsessed side of me may have also played a part in wanting to visit “Marbs”! Seeing as I took a lot of photos I’m going to be doing two posts- one on what we got up to during the days and another on what and where we went during the evenings and nights!

We stayed in a really cute two-bedroom apartment just five minutes from the port so it was so handy having everything in walking distance. Most of the day’s we spent lying out on the beach or walking up and down the port checking out (gawking) at the luxury cars, yachts and designer shops. I know nothing about cars but I know an expensive one when I see one and the place was full of them and don’t get me started on the boats. Insane. Of course for me, it was the high- end shops that really got my heart racing. Even the people working in them were beautiful. I loved watching the people just casually pop in and out of them with their arms full to the brim of bags with all their purchases- Dolce, Gucci, Tom Ford, Armani, the list goes on. I think their idea of “popping out to get a few bits” and mine are a small bit different! Some day. eh?

It was my first time away since November last year so it was so lovely to feel the heat and just wander around aimlessly the way you only can on holidays. Have any of ye been before? Make sure to keep an eye out for my part two post in the next few days!

Edel.
