Restaurant 34 at Hotel Carabeo

Nerja, like most small Spanish towns, has it’s fair share of gorgeous restaurants and bars but none can top Restaurant 34. It’s that good. The restaurant is located on the ground floor of the stunning boutique hotel. Everything about it is perfect, from the food to the decor to it’s view.

The moment you walk into the lobby you know you’ve entered a place where everything is of the highest standard. The decor has a very Parisian chic feel to it, mahogany wood, dark leather with paintings and sculptures at every turn. As it is winter we were seated inside but during the warmer months you can opt to sit outside where you can take in the beautiful sea views.




When we were seated the waiters brought out an array of boards with a selection of fancy “nibbles” to start. I wanted everything on the menu but I eventually decided on the beetroot and goats cheese tartlet with pine nuts and rocket to start and the milk fed leg of lamb for my main. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it again. It was out this world good.




If you ever are in Nerja I would put it down as an absolute must on your to-do list. If you’re not in the mood for a big sit down meal they also have seating out the front where you can choose from the tapas menu. Either way it’s an amazing. I honestly couldn’t recommend it enough.

For my outfit that night I kept if simple with camel cigarette trousers, a leopard print sheer blouse and black plimsoles.
